What is an NPC, and who is The NPC?
“NPC” stands for “Non Player Character” which is a character in a game that is pre-programmed by the game developers with set behaviors. You will usually receive quests or advance a story-line within a game by interacting with an NPC. Some have no more function than to add some background flavor to a game, while others have a major role like offering players a shop in-game to buy materials for game completion.

Let's Talk about Side Questing
I am The NPC, and I plan on creating a lifestyle that surrounds bettering yourself by completing “Side-Quests”. I enjoy playing and understanding games. Tabletop Games, Role-Playing Games, and Video Games all have some form of strategy, game-play mechanic, or other little aspects that make a game what it is. I plan on implementing a system that helps people better themselves, called “Side-Questing” where you take a task, and dedicate it to a “Side-Quest”. I want to help people find joy in doing things that they are either already doing, or want to really start doing, but are having trouble getting a handle on. This is more or less my “Mission Statement” but ultimately it focuses around one concept, make a game out of it. Have to go get gas for the car, make a “Side-Quest”. Need to make lunch, another “Side-Quest”. the reward for those “Side-Quests” are the reward of the task itself. Now you have lunch, and a car full of gas ready to go. The change is mental, not overly physical… however there are aspects of the mentality that translate to physicality. Want to get more in shape, make a repeatable “Side-Quest” to work-out regularly. These small mental decisions to turn mundane and unappealing tasks into a “Side-Quest” can help in getting more done and feeling better about yourself.
